Canon 7D, 400mm 5.6 lens, ISO 500, 1/1600 sec. Taken full sun. Approx 60% crop. For or me a difficult DF to shoot because of predominant b&w color. Does the background bother anyone?

Great shot! The DF is in sharp focus so the bg doesn't bother me at all. It also seems to indicate movement which is also a cool thing. Well done.

Roger:
Congrat on get a sharp DF in flight shot. :toast: :toast: :toast: BG is fine. Good that you included the perch to let the viewer know that its is heading for the airport to land.

I miss the movement in the wings. Do you have Lightroom? Try a touch of fill light and some vignetting.

What a great flight shot, Roger. The only suggestion I can offer is to tone down the hot spots on the landing perch. Very nice timing. :toast:
