Full Buck Moon + REPOST
by Wayne Jones
That's one of the names for the July full moon (when deer antlers start to sprout). This was taken from an Island where I was camping on an Adirondack pond. One long exposure for the entire scene, plus another shorter exposure for the moon. I reduced the blue saturation in postprocessing because the long exposure resulted in supersaturated blues.
I also shot another shot with this moon the previous night, which I posted in the Man & Nature Gallery.
P.S. PLEASE SEE REPOST IN COMMENTS, BELOW.

In person, the moon was bright orange with just a hint of detail, but my short exposure had lots of detail, so I just left it there. Next visit to this image, I'll try reducing the contrast in the Moon, and I agee it will look more natural. THANKS.
I think this solves the problem -- Thanks for noticing that this is supposed to be a landscape, and not a Moon photo. I might brighten the Moon a bit more, but if I don't get outside, I'll have 4 grandkids running around terrorizing the neighborhood.
Hope you caught up to the grandkids in time!
