Headwaters--Gold Bars

I like the diagonal ripples in this abstract and rich brown colors. For those of you who need a focal point, the little dusting of gold flakes sure got my attention! Turns out most of them were mica but I keep panning. I'm pretty sure I'll have collected at least an ounce by 2020. Comments and critiques are always appreciated. Thanks for looking.

A very nice abstract image! The diagonal works fine and the little gold flakes does look interesting!

The series of diagonal highlights is captivating. The gold and brown color really works well.

Hi Nancy, This does work well. Some of this reminds me of honey in the comb! (I was a bee keeper for many years). I like the diagonal lines, light and texture.

Neat abstract image Nancy, like the patterns and diagonals here..
BTW, have you seen the price of gold lately? It topped $1600 yesterday!
I'm into silver myself
Well done :toast:

Excellent abstract, hues of gold in and out of focus giving almost an impressionistic feeling of water works well.
