I discovered this location in the Jura mountains of Solothurn/Switzerland about two years ago. It's not a hidden place...there's a small country road going by.The last two years I've been visiting this place several times and the best lighting condition is early morning in spring or fall. This image here is taken in April 2011 early morning just a few minutes after sunrise, just when the sun was peeking over the mountain. I loved the backlight and the haze in the background. It's not quiet exactly what I am looking for but close. This is the best I've got so far.

Hi Bill, This is very nice, and I like the light you shot this in. The two backlit trees look wonderful, and the background works really well. The road adds some nice interest for me as well.

I like this a lot. Would it be possible to move your point of view further to the right so that the road in the BG does not go behind the tree? Just a thought.

The lighting is great and the comp is great also. I like the simplicity of the image.
