Sunset Round bale

I took this a couple of nights ago. The sun had just dropped below the horizon, and was lighting up the clouds behind this large round bale. Wheat harvest is over around here, and the farmers are baling up the left overs. This bale was at the edge of the field, and I liked how the left over wheat was right up against it. Is the dark lower right corner a distraction? I tried using content aware to fill it in with wheat, but didn't really like the results. 7D, ISO 200, f/11, 2 exposure blend (1/5 and 1/10), small crop from 16mm

The dark corner is a bit distracting, but not a deal breaker. Nice details. I love the colors in the sky, and the standing wheat does add a lot to this image.

I like the details in the bail and the lovely light in the sky. I wouldn't have noticed the dark corner if you hadn't of mentioned it.

Hi Rob, I agree with you on the straw bale being up against the wheat. It adds a lot. The dark corner is a big negative for me. I would consider cropping off the right edge. Awesome sky!

Wow, the sky is just stunning. I'm not bothered by the dark corner, did not notice it until you mentioned it.
