I would think so Todd but can't give you a species. Nice job on the subject/ground separation here.

Excellent DOF, colour comosition and overal arrangement. This is definitely not a lily, but can't help with identification. Well done.

Todd, I think it is a lily of some sort. It would be good to have some idea of size and location. Other than that, a good image. You could use a little noise reduction in the background.

Looks like a Lily but seriously I have no clue. I tried my resources but could not land up with anything positive, at least not yet. Beautiful photo with 3 blooms in 3 different orientations.

Phil and Ram thanks with your help in trying to identify this flower. All I can really tell you is that it was about six to eight inches long. The flowers are about 3/4 of an inch and I found it on the trail in northern Minnesota. Thing up there come in a lot later I think because of the cooler weather. I have a birthday coming up maybe I should ask for a flower identification book. Of course my dad may give me a funny look but o'well.

Todd: The size of these probably does work against this being a lily although the anthers and pistil do suggest a lily Regardless of the ID I like the shot. I think I would have tended to rotate the camera position a bit so that the view of the rearmost flower was at a bit of an angle instead of dead away. I do like your DOF management and color palette. >=))>
