The ferns around my palm tree were backlit so nicely I quick got my camera before the light was gone.

This is awesome Cheryl! Excellent light/exposure and colors with a great comp.
Very effective use of DOF too..
It's amazing what a person can do with the right gear, coupled with an intuitive eye for the shot.

How did you get the background to be green too? did you add that in editing, or use a backdrop?
