The lonely tree

by Keshav Kumar

Gallery: LandscapePosted July 2, 201161 views4 comments
Taken on a highway drive just before some heavy rains.

Not really as high quality as what the standards of this forum are, but what the heck! I like it.

Please provide your feedback and critique.

Do see the larger size for clarity.

Canon 7D + Canon 18-135mm - converted to monochrome in PS using channels and levels.

good image Keshav, i like the simplicity here

i suggest to make a crop from the top & a bit from the right side of the image

I like it too. The two trees near the edges create an interesting tension and uneven horizon adds to it in a nice way. Certainly different than what we normally see here, but this has a very arty and original feel to it, which is nice.

I like the graphics and the monochrome look to this scene, Keshav. My only suggestion would be a small crop of the sky and make this more of a pano.

You'll probably get widely differing suggestions on this one Keshav. My take would be to crop off the left 1/3.
