Rifle Falls (again)

Here's another comp of Rifle Falls from last weekend. I wasn't prepared for the amount of mist swirling around in some spots where I shot, thus I (and my lens) got soaked. I tried to remove some of the spots but I'm sure you eagle-eyes will see every one of them  (Suggestions on better technique to remove water drops would be appreciated, BTW.)

Canon Rebel Xti, tripod
10-22 mm lens
ISO 100, F14 @ 1/13

My poor old weak eyes can't see the first water spot. The only nit I have is the washed out sky in the ULHC. Not much you can do about that in post processing. Maybe a bit tighter crop would reduce the significance. I like water that looks like water flowing and it is done quite well here. Also, a little darkening of the midtones might help with the flat light.

The angle here is more dynamic, Angela. Could maybe see working the light to create more drama.

Angela,

I guess I'm failing at being an expert cause I can't see any remnants of any water drops! Ok, maybe a couple in the larger version... but nothing I would be concerned about. Actually, I'm more distracted by the UL corner than anything else in the image. I think this is a great capture of the falls, but my eye is drawn out of the frame. Looks like some partly cloudy/blue sky up there so I'm wondering if you could selectively work on that corner it could become less of a liability. If you could I think that would improve this quite a bit.

I do like the grasses at the bottom providing a solid base for your composition of the trio of falls.

Angela, I think I like this one better than the last falls you posted. IMHO there is less in this image to distract your attention from the falls. Thanks for sharing.

Holy Cow there's a lot of water spots in this one! ( I wouldn't have found any if you hadn't got me to looking.)

This is a great set of falls Angela, and I like this angle/comp. Catching them with some color/late light in that upper left corner would be sweet!

I like the previous one better. The upper left hand corner seems a bit distracting to me

Angela, This is a wonderful falls and I do like this view of it. I have the same feelings about the u l corner as others, but still enjoy this shot. I think I would want to visit this location a few times.

I like the composition and texture in the water due to your chosen shutter speed. The blown out corner is distracting and could be fixed with a blended exposure (if you made a darker exposure, that is). I like the angle here a lot, though.
