I love the gentle colours on dried Helichysums There's nothing like it in living flowers unfortunately ! This is just a pic of a bunch of dead flowers but what do you think ? Post a pic of a dead insect and you'd be shot !!

Well John, I certainly like it. Love the highkey and the comp. It's a fine stack and the colors in the flowers are muted but very appealing. I also like the mood of it. The only thing I might consider is cloning out the two flower heads in the viewer's lower left. I think they conflict with the stems a little for my tastes. Otherwise, I like this image very much.

It's probably just subjective John but it seems cleaner to me this way too. Good looking image.

John: You can post dead flowers like this anytime. This is delightful. I actually don't mind the flowers in the LLC but I also really like the repost. Wonderful image. >=))>

I edited your title to reflect the repost. You can do that yourself on the edit screen so that others know there is an adjusted image to view.

John this photo reminds me of late summer when we get these nice dry flowers. You have captured here an excellent colour palette. A bit more space at the top would be nice. Well done.

Yes, the great light, the low contrast and the low saturated colors create beautiful pastel colors. For me is a really beautiful photo (the repost).
Take care.

Beautiful! All the colors and detail really shine in this. The different stem patterns really add to it as well. Nicely done.

John:
Beautiful. The repost is neater.
Another suggestion (and this may be entirely personal) is to lightened up the drop shadow for the frame - looks a little incongruous with a high key image.

Exceptionally fine work. All the elements work beautifully together, comp. color, bg, detail. :toast:
