Here is my take on a calla... for at least today. Tomorrow will there will be another favorite. I don't think I've posted this before, but I'm sure someone will let me know if I have. Plain, simple lines, but impressive nontheless. Taken with Canon 40D, using the 500 diopter on the 100-400 IS lens.

Patricia: Aptly titled and superbly composed. A bit more brightness would suit me a little better since I know these flowers so well from our own garden. Beautiful presentation. >=))>

Superb composition, Patricia, with lovely curves complementing each other perfectly ! Would like a touch more brightness, I think, but this is nice.

Love the point of view Pat and the glow. Don't know that increased brightness wouldn't kill the glow or if done selectively on the whites make it look unnatural. So I don't know about increasing the brightness., The lines and shapes are lovely. It's a superb image of course.

Tastefully done composition here, Patricia. I am watching all the nice Calla shots from you, Pat, Scott and others so that I am prepared to handle my Calla when it blooms.

Increasing the brightness is perhaps a good suggestion.

Yes Patricia, impressive because the structure is very strong, geometric and the vortex you have captured drags in the center of the Earth. A great angle for a great depth. Patricia, I have the feeling that this image can rise at a top level, with some more editing work. Don't ask me how!
