Another take of some wonderful cliffs in Point Reyes. Any comments welcome.

The cliffs almost 'march' into the distance. :toast:

I like the arrtsy feel to this. Definitely a different interpretation of light than we're used to seeing here. Nicely done.

Lucy,

I really like the processing here; it almost has a hint of sepia toning and I get the sense that this could be a 19th century photograph with a little more toning. I like the cliffs as they diminish in to the distance. I am wishing for a bit more room at the bottom though; a little more sand for reference. But perhaps there was something in the foreground that caused you to crop or bring the angle up off the beach a little. But that's minor.

This makes me want to go there again. The last two times I've been to Point Reyes (just a couple weeks ago actually) I've hit other destinations. One of these days I'll make it back here. I love the wide flat beach too where I there are also some photo opportunities.

Thanks for sharing,

Lon

Thanks guys for the comments. And Lon I did have to crop the bottom close because it was horizontal rock not sand that distracted from the cliffs. If you haven't checked out McClure's Beach or Kehoe beach both are well worth a bit of a hike out.
