Along The Roadside

Just wanted to pay tribute to all the Dad's who supported our dreams, took us for that Sunday drive, and held our hands when we didn't win first prize. Dad, this one's for you.

We were out driving last Sunday when I spotted these Swamp Milkweeds growing alongside the road. Grabbed my camera and took a few shots. Probably not my best work, but I thought of you, Dad.

Processing was done in Topaz Simplify, Color Efex and a texture layer was added. An image that will mean more to me and my tribute to my dad. But I hope you enjoy it as well.
