Nice shot David. Love how the colors in the water echo those in the bird. Really like the colors on the bird's back in this shot. Good sharpness and detail in the larger version.

Great pose, David. Excellent techs, as usual. I particularly like the way the colors of the bg mimic those of the Heron in this image.

That's one intense hunting pose Dave. I especially enjoy how the colors of the heron go with the water. Tight enough for good detail but not too tight - something I generally like and I do here. Nice job getting it FF too. Well done.

Superb full frame image David, I was never able to get this close on my trips to the Lampasas River here.
Exceptional lighting & color, sharp details.
