Photo taken April 16, 2011 shortly after sunrise in Wilcox, Arizona.
Cropped to 63% of full frame. Sharpening and other minor adjustments made in Lightroom 3. Three small distracting blobs in the water (and reflection) were eliminated with the spot removal tool.
D300, 500mm f/4 + 1.4x tc, 1/1250 s, f/6.3, ISO 250, tripod.

David: Very nice image. The reflection is great. Your composition for the bird and reflection is very nice. Even though this was early light, I'd like to see the overall brightness of the image brought up just a bit.

Colors, light and reflection are all excellent in ths one David. Nice work! (BTW, the lighting looks perfect for my taste and I wouldn't change a thing with it).
