Morning Flax

My husband spied these on the Gunny Loop trail near GJ yesterday. It was an easy 1/2 mile hike this morning and a great way to start the day. I've identified them as a blue flax.

Canon Rebel XTI, handheld
ISO 400 (forgot to change it back after last night  )
F7.1 @ 1/640

Beautiful color palette and light Angela. I think the ISO is fine here. I like the touch of texture in the bg as well as the bg itself. I initially thought it was a touch cluttered but in the larger version it just adds interest. Very appealing mood and image.

Beautiful color, excellent detail and comp. Very well done, Angela! These are the most beautiful blue in color. I have a few bunches of the domestic variety along my driveway and they are peaking right now.

Really nice capture Angela. I almost wish the lower OOF bloom wasn't there, but then it does help balance the image. Sweet color and detail.
