...than I think it's pretty. Drab drizzly weather persists but the pond lily's are beautiful. So...

About the only thing I did was clone some floating junk (algae) etc. full frame. Little sharpening and mild saturation boost.

Serious mood in this Charlie. I obviously like the flower and pad but it's the reflections that really make this image for me. I like this one a lot.

Same for me Pat. Those blended, ripples grabbed me. The flower is beautiful, but it is just a beautiful flower and as you know, maybe better than most of us, there are more than a few of those?

Wow Charlie. This is one of the best waterlily image I've seen. The big contributor is the water. The shimmering quality is just first class.

Charlie: Another excellent shot from you. I like the comp and position of the lily in the frame and the rippled water is a very nice touch. My only suggestion is a slightly tighter crop maintaining the same 6:4 ratio but getting rid of the relatively bright band on the top and the koi(?) just to its right. The inclusion of the pads and the bud is brilliant. Very well done.>=))>

I did crop to take out the top reflection and color blur. I suspect it was a reflection of a water iris as they are blooming just now. No Koi in that pond only native fish, frogs and crawfish. I think it is an improvement as it was a large blur of light drawing attention up there.

I like both posts Charlie. This feels natural, and is shown well in my opinion. Super nice.
