Nature for me is my home , my peaceful place.
Here in Brazil we have incredible places but most of them are not acessible . The country is very big and the roads does not help.
I hope make some friends and share some experiences.
Any comments are welcome.
Thank's

Very nice, creative shot. Longer star trails may have made this even more appealing, but it's certainly quite dynamic as-is. The light painting works for me.

Hey Crisiano, I like the golden color of your light source and how it contrasts the cool night sky. You can see how the stars arch in different directions towards opposite poles of the earth. It's a little tough to get the light painting even on trees because you can create shadows from the many branches while standing underneath it. Here's a tip, the further a subject is to your light source the more light it's going to need to light up and the closer it is the less light it needs.

I've played around a little with sort of thing  Light Up the Darkness

Cristiano,

Welcome to NPN and the Landscape gallery! What a terrific first post - so much to enjoy about this creation. You have an expressive tree and I really like how the branches pretty much fill the frame. The star trails are nicely captured, but I really like the cloud. It almost looks like the Northern lights. The only minor issue I have is the light painting itself. I'm wishing it was a little more uniform as it looks more like a car headlamp or something other than what painting should have done - but as I mentioned a minor point. I think this is a nicely executed image and a great one to introduce yourself.

We look forward to your images and also for your participation. Don't be shy, jump right in and offer some of your own comments. Welcome aboard.

Cristiano, this is a very cool image. I love the patterns in the tree and they are accented very well by your light painting. I have been to northern Brazil and was blown away by the natural beauty there, and would love to see more of the country. I'm really looking forward to seeing your photography from there.

Hello Cristiano :wavey:
A very nice first post indeed. I love the top branches of the tree silhouetted against the long exposure sky and streaking stars, and I think they would make a wonderful subject in themselves against the same skyl. The green/blue of the sky is also very nice in combination with the warm light-painted tree. Welcome!
