Opening Clematis

My Clematis were quite beautiful this year and I took many photos. This flower is just beginning to open. The BG is actually a yellowish type of sedum that is a groundcover under the clematis vine and arbor it grows on.

Canon Rebel T1i. 135mm at F/9 for 1/25 sec. ISO 200.

Very nice Carolyn. Especially interesting to me is the varied central structures. BG and composition are just right for my taste.

Placement in the frame, dof and such a clean and vibrant background makes this a winner in my book. Congratulations on a excellent image! :toast:

Carolyn, you're scoring big with this clematis. I like them all, but this may be the best so far. :toast:

This is wonderful. Really like the two leaves in the bg. The bloom is gorgeous too.
