Nice to have a pair nesting in the edge of the garden. They,ve become very accomodating.

Excellent detail & color throughout. white forehead not a problem for me. I wonder if a little more space to the left would improve an already great image.

Thanks both.
Roger I tried that and the head was too far right ,so it would have to be a landscape shot. I,ll try it a bit later.
Thanks

Super shot all around John. The lunch in it's mouth puts it over the top.

John, a wonderful image. Super detail and exposure is spot on. I think just an inch more on the left would have balanced out the comp. I like the vertical crop better than the landscape. But in any case it's terrific.

Fantastic. Beautiful colors, excellent exposure and sharp. I like your original comp. With that background I think you could add 1/2" real estate on the left and it would be perfect.

John, wonderful detail, great eye and prey, and nice pose and perch.
I'd like to see this with a vertical crop, or more room at the left with the present crop.
Just exceptional!

Nice to have accomodating tenants, John. Looks like this one has a double......maybe one for the lady? Wonderful color and details.

Beautiful image John. It would have been great without the insect but that puts it over the top.

hello John,
first great shot, details are excellent. From the composition point of view, I prefer the vertical cut but with more room on the left.
Cheers, Luca

Splendid shot! I prefer the vertical version. Techs are great. The catches add a lot too. :toast:

Second version for me, but I would be happy with either.

A fine capture indeed - pose, prey, perch, background - all first rate. I prefer the wider version.
