I love the color and overall feel. I do find the white streaks on the bottom to be somewhat distracting though.

Very cool photo. Nice way to obtain an abstract with no lens movement. I like this a lot.
Agree with the streaks at the bottom..a tad distracting.

i see your intent keep the aperture open but as with the others, would have loved this without the streaks (circ pol to hand?). nonetheless, the bits that do work for me - above the streaks - are simply wonderful so maybe explore some crops?

One of the better reflection shots I've seen in quite a while . . . there's a wonderful impressionalistic quality to this. Great work! I wasn't particularly bothered by the streaks on the bottom but it seems like a crop might improve the image a bit by eliminating them altogether.

This is really beautiful. Really well composed. Even the out of focus water surface adds misty interest.

Winnie,
I love this! Fantastic on a number of levels and I'm surprised it hasn't received more comments. First of all, this doesn't come across right away as a reflection image. I get the impression of being in a cave, looking out through some heavy vines out in to a very dense, but brightly lit forest. Very fascinating to me. The dark corners add to that cave-like feeling I get. I just think this is wonderful - dreamy as Julian commented. Great eye to catch this.

Very nice Winnie! If I had to nitpick, I would say the bottom is a little distracting for my eye, but others probably wouldn't mind it much (especially non-photographers)... Cheers!

Oh wow, that's beautiful and artsy. Fantastic work Winnie! Dreamy and Impressionistic indeed. This is pushing the envelope (in such a positive way) how excellent photography can be and how stimulating and inspiring viewing photography can be. Without a single second of doubt: This is my favourite of yours and an all time favourite among the NPN-images I have seen in the last years. Grandiose work.

The more I look at this, the more convinced I am that the blurred streaks at the bottom are integral to the magic of this image. Something like magic dust that allows the viewer to step into an enchanted world. Covering them up with fingers or cropping and I think the image loses something and becomes grounded in the real world of documentary photography.
