Similar to the FBI, I have maintained my own "Ten Most Wanted List" for years. The Wilson's warbler has been on it, close to the top and eluded me pretty much for the past 4 years. I had been able to get a couple of brief encounters but always under low light conditions making it difficult to obtain a quality photo of this active bird. That all changed a couple of days ago when I spotted this male in good light while feeding.

My "Congrats" to Howard Cheek for the outstanding Wilson's that he posted just yesterday!

Nice soft light & beautiful colors Craig. It's a great POV, nice detail/DOF
I especially like how the leaves kind of balance this diagonal perch at both ends..
And the OOF light green leaves directly behind the bird add some "pazazz" IMO.
Congratulations on finally getting this little sucker, he's a beauty!

Delightful image, Craig. I like the alert pose and great perch. The background makes the warbler pop, but I would tone down the leaves directly behind the warbler.

Seems like we are having a good dose of this warbler all of a sudden - that's good.

Really like this Craig - especially the setting, colors and the good look at the well exposed yellows and black cap.
