This is another one from our last trip to the Northern Territory. This is Kalarrange Lookout. We set up camp just a few minutes from this beautiful spot. Too bad I didn't have some clouds in the sky.....

Nice shot. The rock has some great color and enough variety of line/form to make it an interesting subject. I also like the inclusion of the distant valley and hills for a sense of context. Certainly a more striking sky would have helped, but I don't mind the contrast of the blue with the rich orange of the rock. You may want to try to even out the polarization of the sky some . . . not an easy thing in my experience, but it's fairly notable and perhaps worth trying to address.

This is nice Bill. I like the rock formation and the orange color looks really nice against the blue sky. I also like the distant view on the left side. I agree with Phil about the sky, but I know I don't know how to fix that. I'm sure somebody here does however  .

Color and contrast make this relatively simple comp work, R. Bill. Could see darkening the land on the left to make it compete less with the rock.
