F/7.1
SS 1/1600
Exposure Program Manual
Metering Spot
ISO 400
White Balance Cloudy
Distance 55.9 meters
Tripod w/Wimberly
Raw

Shot under cloudy conditions which was great for getting the whites exposed without blowing them. Cropped about 50%. Still trying to get a better shot that's closer with less noise in better conditions. I'll keep trying.

David, Nice to wake up and see one of your images. You panning skills are right on. At this shutter speed to freeze the wings with no blur and this detail is fantastic. No nits from me, as you know I tried to get a shot like this while they were here. I would be happy with this image being on one of my drives. Great as usual. Heading to BC now.

Very neat flight shot David. You handled the exposure well and I like the wing position and low flight path over the water.

Nice details, color, and well exposed, that reflection is lovely.
Perfect comp for this, and the waters color compliments.

Great flight shot! I love how low he is over the water, and the wavy patterns in the water make a great backdrop. Considering the distance and the crop, this is wonderful.

Really like the wing position and reflection David. Agree that those clouds sure helped with the white exposure. I like this water surface as a background for the bird too.

Terrific flight shot of a very difficult subject. Exposure looks good to me and the wing position and reflection add a lot. :toast:
