Busy

I was able to spend an hour or two with this beaver in March - watching it over and over scramble onto shore, grab a branch, then head back to the waters edge to munch. The beaver didn't pay much mind to me at all, far too busy with his meal to care about anything else.

As always, comments & suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Unusual to get one out in the open and still in the light. Like the timing on getting the slightly raised front paw and the curving line of the shore.

Hi Guy,

I'm in agreement with Steve's comments so won't repeat. But I also like the little extra the nice blue in the water adds to the image. It MIGHT be worth trying to extract a LITTLE more shadow detail out of the side/back of the beaver - while I don't know the characteristics of the files of the A200, I'm guessing there's a little more detail there just waiting to be seen!

Cheers...thanks for sharing this...

Hi Guy,

Nice behaviour shot. Maybe a wider perspective with more water and the complete branch in would also have been interesting to see.

Cheers,
