Morning symmetry on Bow Lake taken August 2009. I rarely do pano crops but I liked the almost perfect symmetry here. Interested in your thoughts. As always, thanks for looking.

This is really nice Eva. Love the still reflection and the subtle color of the hills on the left.

I like this very much Eva. I am wondering if a little more saturation might bring out more detail, or perhaps a slight levels adjustment?

An interesting approach to photographing Bow Lake. The abstraction works well here and I like how you composed this. Not only the horizontal symmetry, but also the selection you made from left to right.

The pano works well, I like the symmetry too. But I see in there a stronger composition, if you have a frame shot starting from where the bigger slope starts, at 1/4 of the frame.

Sweet pano Eva! I would consider upping the saturation and contrast.

Thanks everyone for your comments and critiques. Here is a version with a bit more saturation and contrast. BTW - the blue cast in the water is due to the aqua / turquoise color of the water.

Hi Serban - Do you mean a comp something like this? Talus Reflection or Bow Lake Reflection The two links are individual telephoto images while the current post is a wide angle view. Thanks for the input.

Very nice, Eva. Great view with a wonderful reflection. I especially like the panoramic format with this. Now I see the repost and like that even better! The saturation and contrast boost looks great to me.

Beautiful abstract reflection scape, Eva. I like the increased contrasts of the repost, and I prefer this composition to the tele shots you link to.

Oh yeah I know that spot well!!! I think the shot and symmetry are very good.

I only wish for a little softer diffused lighting.

On my try the clouds were dark and gloomy.

Nice job!

Wonderful image, Eva. I love the almost abstract quality and subtle color palette--very refreshing.

Eva: I like panos so this suits me just fine. I really like what you did with Bow Lake. I breezed past there that same summer and didn't give it a fair look. Won't happen again! I like both versions but think I like the original a bit better which surprises me since I'm a real color junkie. Top notch shot.>=))>

Hi Eva. Here it is was mean. Of course the crop I sent you can go a little bit bit wider, but for that it needs a little bit more in frame from right. The crop I sent you I think it focuses more the attention of the viewer to nice arrow shapes you have there.

I'd like maybe just a little more room top and bottom. I sure do like the details, and the color of the water.
