This is looking over a canal, one of the few places that still have water in the Everglades.

Goregous Wayne. Love the pastel glow and the fog. I might crop a little off the top so that only the glow shows.

Nice comp Wayne, but I'd consider cropping about 30% of the sky and create a pano image. Lovely light and nice morning glow!! If only a Great Egret were in that pool, that would really set this image off. Regardless, this is sweet!!

Wonderful moody! Just that bush in the lower right is distracting. It is too contrasty and too dominating. But I love the atmosphere and the pastels.

Great mood, and I really like the pastel feel you have achieved.

I like the scene a lot. Could see darkening, or even cropping the top of the sky to put more emphasis on the water. The "atmosphere" creates some nice layering.

Everything is beautiful, the fog in the Background is awesome
i feel the space in the top of the image is a little bit huge where the sky is almost empty

Here's another vote for cropping some sky to emphasize the beautiful layers on show here. Lovely work.

Appreciate the critiques, and because so many have said the same thing about the sky I've cropped it. Didn't originally because I wanted to keep the idea of a vast space, which typifies the Everglades.

The fog and those wonderful pastel colors really make this image. Nice work.

The original has a very pleasant feeling and color scheme and I don't at all mind the amount of sky, which for me helps to balance the composition and round out the overall sense of place that the image imparts. So, for whatever it's worth, I'd go with that one.

Gorgeous scene Wayne, like it lots. Only been to Florida once but sadly never got the chance to see the glades. Must do so one day.

What a relaxing scene, but I think you've gotta be from here to really appreciate it. Love the morning glow in the sky and the ground fog.
