The warmer weather we are having sure is nice! We planted some daisies last weekend. This one here is almost open. Your comments are always welcome.

I would like to mention you folks are posting some amazing flower pictures!

Matthew,

i like the composition with the echo in the bg and also the light and color palette. On my MacBook the brightest whites look slightly over exposed, especially on the flower in the bg. On the front flower it doesn't bother me much but on the rear flower it draws my eye. If you agree and if you really have lost the information in those areas, you might be able to clone over the highlights with a white from a different area in the image. Other than the whites on the rear flower, I like the image as posted.

Agree with Pat's observations - I like the rendering of the flower in the front even though the highlights in the rear flower hurts the aesthetics a wee bit. This daisy is called Osteospermum.

Matthew: Ditto Pat and Ram regarding the blown areas on the BG bloom. This is something you really have to be aware of in the viewfinder and is a good example of a situation where a diffuser would come in handy. The main flower looks great and I like the light on it a bunch. >=))>

I agree with the earlier comments about the whites. That being said, I really like the details you captured in the main bloom. The curling petal edges almost look like stripes. I've never seen one of these with this color center.
