Ian, wonderful comp and light. Perfect title. Although, I think you burnt the hotdogs on the BBQ

A classic up-close-and-personal Wolfenden image.
I've been considering picking up Color Efex Pro...the way you've used it here is another reason why.
Nicely done!

Terrific! Holding all of the details in the flower center works so well here.

I think you chose the best title Ian, although given the pov, I think tilt a whirl would have worked well too. Perfect stack, interesting textures and shapes as well as a sense of energy and movement - very fine work. The vignette blur is finely nuanced and adds a lot to the image IMO. Masterful control of the elements. Very cool. (smile)

Even the thumbnail leaps off the screen. You really nailed the colors and detail.

Beautiful stacking and nice POV. The anthers do look like a hot dog bun but no sausage

Just fantastic, Ian. I like the soft feel (as opposed to a sharp look most focus stacks tend to have) which goes well with this delicate flower

You picked the right title. With Hot Dogs I would have been forced to say something stupid like "Looks like you kept the hot dogs on the grill a bit too long!"
Great image Ian! Excellent lighting, comp and POV. The stacking work is terrific. You handled every aspect very well.
