I found this plant while hiking this morning. It's growing among the poison ivy plants in a well shaded area. I've never see this plant before and was hoping someone may help me with an ID. The flowers are about 1" tall.

Tech notes- canon 7d w/ 24-105 lens @ 102mm and +4 diopter
Iso 250, f6.3, 1/160 sec, -1 stop. tripod w/release

C&C appreciated

It appears to be a variety of Columbine.

It's definitely columbine - Aquilegia... possibly canadensis. Very common here in Northern Ohio. In a short time, the flowers will open up, revealing a beautiful center that is often yellow or white. I have these growing wild in the woods behind my house and also in my garden. They also come in blue and white, yellow, pale pink, and red.

This is a really nice portrait of the budding flower. Love the bokeh in the background. Really nice shot!
