Cactus Wren
by Jim Hackley
I was coming back from a walk in the back desert and had not taken one picture when I heard the familiar call of a cactus wren. I located the wren on this purple cane cholla and slowly approached. To my surprise the wren jumped up to the top of the cactus and stayed there checking me out for a wonderful photo opportunity.

I'm being real picky here, so don't pay too much attention ;^) but I think I'd like this just a little more with extra space above the subject as well as more of the RH side.
