Spring Green Tulips

Spring Green Tulips got my attention at the local Tulip Festival. Remembering some nice images I got last year using the long lens, I got it out and went shooting before sunset. I do like this lens for cramming and for the beautiful OOF backgrounds it captures.

Beautiful detail and colours on this one, Craig- I agree about the great soft BG you obtained with that lens (and my congrats for your strong back)- Well done, Fabio

Gorgerous! Wonderful colour pallette, and nice perspective.
The BG pinks echoing those of the tulips is perfect.
Lovely presentation, too.

Absolutely delightful. Some good long lens technique you've got going, Craig.

Glad to see another photographer taking advantage of a longer lens. Lovely complementary background and sharp focus on the subjects. Would like to see a vertical so that whole flower at the base was included in the picture. :wavey:

I like this one a lot just as posted Craig. Beautiful color. The clipped bloom should bother me but I like it here. Great use of that 600 - well birds are ok too. (smile) Gorgeous image, especially in the larger version.

Beautiful. Outstanding subject and BG. Perfect DOF and color. I'm just personally not 100% on the comp because of the clipped flower.

Beautiful image Craig. Fine light and I especially liked the OOF flower in the backdrop. The whole colour scheme aid each other well in the image.

Craig: Normally the clipped flower on the bottom edge would get demerits from me but the amount of blur you have seems to work really well. The BG is wonderful. Very well done.>=))>
