No that's one unusual-looking Duck, at least for me anyways ;^)
I like rich colours of it feathers and the water droplets you managed to capture on it's back Charlie, the reflection works very well too :^)

Charlie, Don't you love these little guys. So cocky with their tail sticking up and the blue bills. I like the low perspective ( wish my knees and sites I shoot at would allow me to get low). I find the pano crop really shows some activity I find the back of the head a bit unusual. I would love to have captured this image.
Good work as usual Charlie.

Good choice for the crop on this one Charlie. I really like the pose you captured here best! I have only seen these one time while I was in Monte Vista watching Sandhill Cranes this year and didn't manage to get close enough for a good shot....glad to see you managed a better shot!

Nice shot Charlie. The reflection and the water circle in front of the bird are a real plus. Is he smiling at you???

Hi Charlie. One of my favorite ducks, they sure are different! You really captured a great expression here.

The pano works well here, Charlie. The water ripples and bubbles in front of the subject are a nice touch for this very interesting duck. Like it a lot.
