Love the rim lighting and the look on the hare's face

Great capture Phil, even though it appears as though the subject is leaping off at an angle away from you, you managed to get plenty of the side of it's head and that wonderful eye to keep interest very much alive, well done :^)

I also like the way the sun is falling on it from the other side, giving the subject that rim-lighting effect I've often read about though seldom achieved myself ;^)

The eye, ears and stance are enough to hold interest, but adding the rim lighting makes this image come alive. Good exposure work here, Phil.

The hare looks superb, with good detail and pleasing rim lighting. Love the pose. My only question is if the yellow green color of the grass is close to true...To my eye the yellow keeps grabbing my attention and I might try to selectively soften that effect in post processing.
