First Woody Reflection

Photographed in Colorado this week- not in the High country where I live. My first encounter with a Wood Duck. It is still snowing daily up here- looking forward to spring. Canon 1DMKIII, 500mm, 1.4 tele, ISO 500, F 5.6, 1/500 sec

The tan water works quite well with this Wood Duck. Nice body position as well. Good work!

Nice capture Bob - the larger image seems to be lacking in sharpness, beautiful duck shot overall though.

Guy- The larger image probably could be sharper- did not want to oversharpen and create halos. I guess I chose the conservative side for this post. Would tweak the sharpening if i decide to print this image. Thanks for pointing this out.

Very nice Bob, I love how well the muddy water works with the colors of the wood duck. Nice view of the eye and the iridescence of the head. Works very well for me as posted.
