D80, 18-55 @ 55, ISO 100, F16 @ 2 sec, tripod, +4 magnifier.

Great colors and fascinating details in the flower's lip. Everything looks a bit soft to me, remind me of photo art. In my experience such softness appears when using high values of close-up lenses, which I'm assuming that you're doing with the +4 magnifier.

Beautifully done Bob. I don't recall seeing anything quite like this before and I mean that in a very complimentary sense. Maybe its the magnifier. Regardless, very strong comp and beautiful color lead me right into the center of things. Feels like a butterfly to me.

I really appreciate "up close & personal", I've always loved the world of macro & what it can show us..
Well composed with lovely colors and just the right amount of detail vs softness.
