Sandy,

Excellent low angle, it sure brings me into the cardinal's work and creates a great water surface too. Gotta love the wet feathers and the look you appear to be getting from the bird. Very nice details & sharpness and the colors in the background look beautiful. One of your best.

Very nice, especially in the larger size. A good head position to show off the bill and crest.

The low angle makes this image for me Sandy. Love the water and diffuse reflection. Really nice.

Love this image Sandy :^) Cardinals are one of my favourite North American species and I always take the time to look at and enjoy pictures I find of them, but this is certainly the most unique image of a Cardinal I've seen to date. I love the way it appears like you must have stealthily risen up just above the waterline in front of it - like some kind of Naval commando - captured a single frame of the lady bathing yet totally oblivious to your presence, before slipping back under again leaving barely a ripple behind ;^)

This has heaps of interest for me, excellent DOF, lovely colours and detail, very well done :^)

Love it, Sandy. The reddish beak, sharp eye and of course all those wet feathers over the water's surface really make this pop.
