Patterns of the receding surf during a long (for midday, at least) exposure. I’m curious as to whether this works for folks . . . it is definitely a bit different. All comments and critiques are greatly appreciated.

Canon 5DII, 17-40L at f/22, 10 seconds, 27mm (ISO 50). Singh-Ray LB Warming Polarizer stacked with a 6-stop ND filter.

The color gradient unifies the image from top to bottom-very peaceful and soft, nice image.

Phil, This is very nice. I very much agree with Art. Beautiful, soft and peaceful. I bet this would make a wonderful large print. Nice Work!

Very cool, Phil. Everything is so soft and delicate I never would have guessed this is mid day light.

I really like this Phil. It's a very common subject/effect but your eye and processing makes this quite evocative. The title is appropriate. That tiny rock and seemingly limitless horizon work to compliment the scene.

wow Phil...indeed the lines are pointing to the infinity. Really great effect and processing! Can't say much critique about it, sorry :o

This is gorgeous Phil. The mix of warm and cool tone explosion is different and wonderful to behold.

Excellent, Phil. A bit minimalist, a bit dreamy, a bit abstract. I think a big print of this would look great

As Marc said, a common approach, but with uncommon results! You did exceptionally well with this. Nice!
