Pastel Reflections

This photo is one of my latest ones after moving interstate in Oz. I'm coming back to post my captures on NPN :))
It has been taken on lake Coogee, Perth which usually is full of mozzies, flies. Every possible flying bug will land on your lens while you are focusing on your subject
My point was to find a lovely reflection.

Even though it looks like twilight, it was taken 9 min before sunset. Lake in in the valley just after a tiny hill which covered me from the sun.

In editing,
burnt and/dodged certain part of tones with luminosity masks (thanks Tony!)
adjust sharpness
a touch of contrast

Camera, 50D
f6.3 and 1.3 sec exposure @ 250 ISO

Any comments would be greatly appreciated :))

Thanks for looking and your time.

Wow this isn't twilight, it's the purple tones that make me think it is twilight. I likethe clouds and silhouetted shoreline but might crop off a tiny portion of the right side.

Lovely pastels. I agree with Steve—the RHS is a bit heavy.

The sky, clouds and colours look great Tom, I think you could do with darkening the water down a bit though.

Aside from the already mentioned issues with the rights side of the shot, this is an intense shot and I really dig the sky and the clouds here. The somewhat muted colors and the purple tint are a nice thing too - well done, Tom.

Thank you for comments and for your time guys:))
@Steve, I was surprised as well with purple tones hence I've mentioned that it was taken before the sunset. Thanks for the RHS point :)
@Gary, thanks for your point.I see what you mean. I'll try to rework the reflections to see how it would look.
@Andreas, I forgot to thanks you for sharpening script which I used here as well. Danke schon :)

The clouds and reflection make for an enticing comp, Tom. Could maybe see burning down the white area of the reflection a bit or cloning in some color if need be.

Great clouds, color and reflections, Tom. I like this pretty much as you have it, but think burning down the brighter white reflection in the water as Tony suggested would be good. Cool picture!

As a fan of purple, I love the tones here! I will say that I missed the moon at first, then wondered what the white blur was in the reflection, then saw the moon, then thought it looked kinda pasted in because it seems to have a dark edge to it. So there's my train of thought from someone enjoying nature photography after a long week and a hard Friday!

The clouds ROCK!

Thank you all for your comments. Much appreciated!
After reading your suggestions, I've edited the original and I thought I'll post the rework for you to take a look at. I hope the adjustments created a bit more pleasing image. :o
