Nice shot, Monica. A classic pose for the DF. Great find the exuvia.

What a great color! I like the very simple background, and the single blade of green. Great sharpness and an unusual subject as well. Nice work, Monica.

Wonderful color! Nice pose, clean BG and the old shell is an added bonus.
Very well-done!

I have one image of odonata with its exuvia near like this, great catch Monica.
And it's always a treat to see that first red-convertible roll off the line
Nice detail in this Roseate Skimmer and your comp is right to the point
Well done

Great capture, Monica! I like the comp and the bonus of the shell. Good detail on the grass and body of dragonfly. The wings are out of focus, not sure if that matters?

I like the viewing angle, the unusual color of the dragonfly, and the wonderfully clear view we have of both the dragonfly and its exuvia. Although they are widespread in North America, Central America and as far south as Chile in South America, I have not previously seen a Roseate Skimmer and the comments had me searching the Internet for details. An elegant shot representing so much info!
