Upside-Down
by Wayne Jones
Today's rains are starting to melt away the snow cover, so I thought I would post a farewell to winter. This little American beech appears to be growing upside-down, thanks to the weight of the snow on its persistent leaves. Even the soft browns of these leaves looked colorful when the whole forest was white, but soon last year's leaves will be replaced by brilliant greenery.

Like your minimalist comp and a nice wintery scene. The shadows adds a lot to the image.
Cheers.
