This photo was taken at Omega Park last spring at the coyote enclosure. It was fantastic to watch these pups have a good time in the tall grass. Nikon D200. Nikon 300mm (F4). ISO 400
F5.6, 1/500. Cropped 40%. Thanks for looking and your comments and critiques always welcome.

Those coyote pups are just so cute! It looks kind of funny how that one on top isn't letting the other one up. I love the pups against the green and yellow background! The flowers in there is a nice bonus! It sure doesn't look like they are in an enclosure.

Absolutely charming image Andrei, made all the more so by the low angle you managed to acquire this from, most appealing :^)

Love the angle, moment and the colors. The image could be sharper, looks slightly soft here, but works well for the moment captured.

This is a lovely capture of some adorable pups Andrei. The vibrant greens and yellow flowers add a lot to the scene as do the catchlights in the eyes. In principle I like wildlife images from a low (eye-level) perspective and that certainly is also a strong point in this image. Yet in this case I wonder whether a slightly higher shooting position would have improved this. This namely would have given a better (less obstructed) view of the bottom pup and included more flowers. :toast:

Hi Andrei,

I really like this one - between the great colours, nice isolation of the subjects from a pleasingly blurred background, and the adorable antics of the pups this one hits all the right notes for me! My only very minor nit is that the pups look just a tad soft on the larger version.

Thanks for sharing this one - definitely put a smile on my face...

Cheers...

Brad

Thanks for all of your comments and critiques .They are much appreciated. When I re-examine this image I do agree that the larger version should be sharper. I could also see how shooting at a higher angle would enable one to see more of the pups head. I'm not sure if I would like that angle . However if I have another chance to photograph a situation like this , I will definitely try it. Best regards to all. :toast:

Nice catch!
The full view of the face, the yellow flowers, and the detail all come together well - congrats on a fine EP!

Very cute, Andrei! Nice saturation and I like the angle of view. I see lots of dandilions in this. Was this in May?
