Upper Blue Hole Falls
by Bryan Simpson
This is the first in a series of three consecutive waterfalls that are collectively know as Blue Hole Falls in northeast Tennessee. Each of the three has it's own character and it was a neat area to shoot.
In this pic I chose a low perspective to better capture the color and textures of the creek bed and the lone leaf.
Taken with Canon 7D and Canon 10-22 at 21mm. 1.3 seconds @ f/11.

I agree that this is a very nice and pleasing scene. I like the composition because the flow of the water draws the focus back towards the middle and bottom, despite the main falls being so close to the right. My only wish though was that there were a little bit more white water at the bottom - but not much you can do about that. The color, exposure, sat, contrast, etc. are all spot on.
I'm wondering if cropping up from the bottom a bit - say to the top of your signature, wouldn't tighten this up a little bit. But that's just a though.
thanks for posting!
