Jefferson Park B/W

I've been doing some spring cleaning on the hard drive and this one caught my eye. Jefferson Park, Mt Jefferson Wilderness, Oregon, July 2010.

Nikon D80, Nikkor 12-24 dx, polarizer
1/20 sec at f/16, ISO 100

All C&C are appreciated. I liked how this turned out as a b/w. What are your thoughts?

Incredible photo, and a spectacular conversion too. The darker tones especially are wonderful throughout, from the mountainside to the trees and the deepness of the sky, I just love it.

What a magnificent view!! The larger image really pulls me into the scene. I'm not sure what the color image looks like but this definitely works as a B&W. The tonal variation really makes this stand out in B&W. The conversion is great and excellent processing all around.

I just how my laptop pops the contrast. This looks very good. Really like the variety of elements and their cooperation in the frame.

I like this alot, Scott. It's a beautiful scene, and I love it in the b/w. The large version really is wonderful to look at. The way those awesome clouds stand out is fantastic. Very nice work! :toast:
