I like the perch, the pose, and the lighting. The BG is nice and the larger OOF branch is not a distraction to me. I n the larger version the white feathers along the side just under the wing are showing a little hot. The face detail is solid but the body might take a bit more sharpening.

Nice shot of this interesting species- Very good details and composition on this one- The whites on the bird's body seem a bit hot on my monitor- Ciao, Fabio

This image has an almost painterly quality to it. The hint of spring contrasts well with the grey tones. I like the contemplative expression on the titmouse's eyes. Looks like he's thinking about the winter gone by. Agree with others on the whites, but that's correctable. Congrats on getting this, Sandy. :toast:

Nice capture all around, especially the smooth muted background.

I can appreciate the small target these birds provide, and you did a nice job incorporating the thorns and leaflets. But I feel it could use a bit more sharpening.

Congrats on capturing this little one, Sandy. The fully raised crest is great. I like the soft lighting. The detail is better in the repost.

What a wonderfully artful picture Sandy! The subtle tones of the BG and branches perfectly compliment the beautiful subject :^)

Oh, and the more detailed repost is the winner in my mind too ;^)

I have never seen one of these guys sit still for very long. You did well to get this and it turned out great. The colors and detail are very nice, as is the scenery. I agree that the detail is better in the repost.
