Like the way the cormorant is positioned on the rock. Nice eye contact and great detail in the blacks.

Hi Robert... great pose and head turn. I like the angle and light too. Based on the far shoreline, it looks like the image may need a slight CCW rotation?

Excellent image, Robert. Like everything about. The pose, inclusion of habitat and the warm light. The larger version is very sharp with the dark plumage well exposed. I also feel this needs a slight ccw rotation :toast:

Good wing positioning, head turn and perch. This is a good image of a Cormorant, although I'd probably darken the bill a little, seems slightly over exposed.

More than enjoy it, I love it! :^) I've taken numerous photos of Cormorants over here but very few have come up as detailed, well lit, and free of distractions as this. This image of yours inspires and spur me on with my quest to get even better pictures of Cormorants in time, so thank you very much for sharing Robert :^)
