Kondalilla Falls

I've attempted to photograph this location before but hadn't worked out. So I took advantage of some overcast conditions a couple of weeks ago and finally got a shot. I will try again later on, even though I'm pleased with the shot I find the foam a little distracting. It was a challenge to get into the right spot for this composition. I hope it was worth it.

Yeah - that's a nice place. I love the water action and the vivid greens in the center of the image. No nits - except maybe, that the very right side looks a bit empty and powerless compared to the rest. But on the other side I love the wide pano.

This looks very nice, Neil. I like the glowing quality of light and the way my eye is led from the falls down the creek to the light in the forest. Lots of converging energy running into and through the shot. It's good to see someone else from my neck of the woods on NPN! Looking forward to seeing more of your images.

excellent choice of the pano format here - love the power of the waterfall coming in from the upper left diagonal - nicely done!

Beautiful panoramic, Neil. I really like how your eye is lead into the scene, the waterfall looks great, and the beautiful light in the background trees is wonderful. The large version is really nice to enjoy. Cheers!

Fantastic processing Neil coupled with some dramatic conditions and great light. Oh by the way, welcome to NPN.

Beautiful, Neil. Love the perspective and your use of the pano format, as well as the great textures in the rock. Really nice work.

Very nice comp that leads to that wonderful lighted area in the background. I also like the pano format you chose here. Well done.

This works very well, Neil. I like the strong element on the left and then the way the water pulls me into the rest of the scene. You definitely have some nice light for this.
