A charming image, and decent IQ for the shooting conditions.

Nice image!
I find these guys extremely skittish and tough to get close to.
Good job, especially getting the chicky!

Wonderful pose from the adult and well done getting the chick, and with its head fully showing. I'd be tempted to selectively sharpen the adults eyes just a bit more.

Love that head tilt of the chick.
A great angle but the whites look a little bright on my monitor
(could be my monitor that is the problem) :wavey:

That's great! I love that they are looking in the same direction with full seperation of the chick's head from the parent's neck. If possible, suggest sharpening the adult's head a touch.

Great capture. The story is very nice. The low angle shows them off very nicely. I wish the DOF held through the adult's bill.

The chick's pose and the parent's eyes are what make this! Nits mentioned. A very fun image to view! Sharon

This is very cool, Charlie. The chick almost looks like it is imitating the parent looking the same direction. A "10" on the cute factor.

This image has a ton of personality Charlie! I wish we had good opportunities on these birds in Colorado, because they look like a lot of fun to watch and photograph. Good techs on this as well!
