John. a great capture of the moment and motion! I like the slightly blurred, sparkling background, it adds a lot to the dynamic.

We were just scouting Starved Rock yesterday, John. It's a beautiful park, and we'll return when there are leaves on the trees - I hope we'll get some good shots. :) This is a neat silhouette. The bright spots on the water are distracting - I'd love to see the image a bit darker in the background - which would leave the bird in perfect silhouette. I do like the dynamic quality of the image - the sparkling background is interesting and the rich blue color is beautiful. The image seems slightly tilted because of the angle of the ripples in the water. Perhaps a slight rotation to fix that. Nice shot!
