Very nice angle and the colour of water is something to behold. Well done, but perhaps a tiny bit of CCW rotation?

Very beautiful image and great , Graham. Both the blacks and whites have come out perfectly exposed. I am particularly captivated by the eye and the texture of the water in the foreground looks interesting.

Love the low angle and great light. Water really adds a lot to the image IMO. In the larger version the fine detail is lacking a bit. You don't mention if this is a crop or not, but wondering if largish crop has reduced fine detail. A really nice shot overall of a very cool species. One I would love to have in my files.

Nice low perspective and good pose. I like the water color and that you can see some of the color shine along the head, nice overall composition, well done.

I like like the low perspective and detail in dark and white tones. An interesting duck too.

Lovely subtle colors here!
Nice pose, great water, and fine detail.
Seems to need a touch of CCW rotation.

Graham, Love the water colors, lighting and your low angle. Excellent exposure. The duck doesn't seem to have a lot of detail in the larger version - perhaps a large crop?
